Spinning hook rig

Anyone heard of the 'spinning hook' rig? Saw someone using one today and it was new to me - wasn't sure what to make of it in terms of hooking capability etc

many different variations on this rig including the 360 rig..

but it can smash a crps mouth and a lot of places are banning it ..

causes a lot of foul hooking in all sorts of mysterious positions that tear as the carp bolts..

However i always thought the 360 rig was something completely different - where the bait spins around the hook on a rig ring or something similar?

no.. it's where the hook is not tied and very similar to this one mate

the difference is the hook has a swivel threaded onto it..

used to use it but have seen it do some nasty work on the fish so have put this one to bed now
