Re: spinning hook rig ?
I have seen that rig rip fish’s faces to bits
if your going to uuse somthing like that the 360 rig is a better one but i would only use it with popups

i would never even attempt to use this rig looks too dangerous and personally speaking the caring carp angler shouldn't use it who's to say the hoks going to hook in the lip no not for mne that rig.
Re: spinning hook rig ?
The 360 degree rig that Stotty has shown is a cracking rig with a popup, its all you will ever need Craig, place a bit of pva foam over the hook to protect you hook and keep the bait upright and away you go.

You just run the swivel over the hook Tim the eye stops it from going off the end

Re: spinning hook rig ?
Just thread the hook through the eye of the swivel then use the two bait stops to stop it from coming off, it looks a little strange because it looks like it will come out but its solid, I caught my Grass carp on it at AP, the weight of the swivel helps the hook penatrate then the carp sucks it up

That was the logical thing I could maybe see from the picture, what are the bits on the hook properly called? bait stops? were getting there lads, were getting there. slow and steady

The 360 degree carp fishing rig is designed to give loads of movement. It can easily rotate 360 degrees, hence 360 degree. Any rig with a large amount of freedom from all angles seems to improve the hooking ability. The 360 degree rig helps increase the chances of a good hook hold no matter which side a carp approaches the bait, or the angle it takes the bait into the mouth. The flexibility of the whole rig allows the hook point to turn and drop very quickly and hook. But it should be used with a pop up or very critically balanced bait.
