The 360 degree rig
The 360 degree carp fishing rig is designed to give greater freedom of movement. It can easily rotate 360 degrees, hence its name
The 360 degree rigs are only supposed to be used with pop ups. It should sink slowly and rest on bottom of lake bed under the weight of the hook and swivel.I bite bits off the pop up till I get it spot on.
I use a long shank nailer type hook or fox series 5 and thread on a swivel as shown above. Then slide on a float stop, a rig ring, then another float stop to trap the ring

Re: The 360 degree rig
stotty on the picture it shows the bait on a ring is there just a piece of line coming from that like u would have for a hair rig with a loop on for a boilie stop or is like a little bait spike i fancy trying this rig but bit puzzled for some reason i understand about getting the right balance so il try it in the margain first its just the putting the bait on
p.s if its a daft question blame the grolsch

My Bait : GETTING OUT IF AND WHEN POSSIBLE...
Re: The 360 degree rig
My question would be: is the hook just thread through the swivel
I can see there's no way it could really fall off,but the idea of not even using a knott or line to attach the hook may baffle people...it did me when I saw this rig a while ago.
Top info tho fella

has been designed to make it hard for the carp to eject the bait by moving in three different ways but to be honest its probably the only rig designed for big fish only, i dont use it myself any more as ive seen it do some horrific damage to fish in the past more the getting the hook out.
