Who's Out There Fishing ???

I didn't feel very confident in catching here due to the Seal problem and me never fishing it either!
But it was worth a bash as it was to early to go home yet. lol

lakes, lochs, ponds general water is frozen up here. River is the colour of Bovril and has all sorts of rubbish running down it at the minute, but hoping to get out chubbing on it on saturday morning

most the waters round here are froze at minuite with more snow and freeze's planned all week think it will be luck if i get out this week in fact i think it may be that bad i mite work sat/sun

its not looking good is it craig. i'm still under the impression thst ya could still get pike though. if ya know of some big deep slack eddies on the river then head there. i think thats what i'll be doing even if it is snowin

Well I've just froze to death on the canal this morning for 2 hours to no avail, decided to give up and go home

Actually found some spots that weren't frozen as well!

thats what i'm thinking woody. if he's up for getting out in this then i mite have a companion to get out with mid week

It was craigpix2000 who recommended the forum to me, joined a couple of months back but only just started posting! Where you thinking of going this week? Dead-baiting or Lure fishing?

P.s Disclaimer, Just cos I brave the cold doesn't actually mean I'm any good at this pike fishing lark lol. Im still a noob! Just really enthusiastic about it at the moment and enjoying catching my new favorite fish!

its got to be dead baiting for me in winter.... i,m going to take a look at my local water and see what the weekend brings, although i,m off all week i could go anytime i wanted, its just braving the extrem weather and sitting there wondering if anything is going to come out, i guess you got to try your luck otherwise you will never know....

Thanks for the comments about smoking lads,now a few people know it makes me more determined to quit as it would be failing.Silly as it sounds 9 days to me is over £50 never mind the health benefits. Thats a weekend session at cromwell or petrol down to elphicks

thats the way to look at it mate. just keep telling yourself that when your own mind try's to trick you and say otherwise during the harder times
