there was a shop at the pac convention knocking those plastic things out at a fiver each
now can i remember who it was but what i do remember is they stocked the esox lucious range of lures so that narrows it down for the googly types amongst you
woody ive three countdouns, two withj a two hook arrangement and one with a three hook set up
is there a way to tell them apart, think one isa pikey????

My Bait : this season i will mostly be using MAGGOTS
Re: resivoir pike
For tools and stuff, I find agricultural stores,or the likes of plumb centre are good. I use pistol grip long nose forceps, just the same, but tarty
Good man tho, gotta have the proper tools for the trade
I use my gerber for hooks outside of the mouth, and anything inside then the long nose come into play.
What I will ask as a general question for those that might know, with my long nose pliers and side cutters, does anyone know of pouches or belt attachments for holding them, Ive seen the on the U.S market, but cant be bothered shipping them in.

Re: resivoir pike
you can get a general tool belt mate. i normally use 12inch and 10 inch forceps and bacho wire cutters and never had a problem cutting through the thickest part of size 6/8 drennan carbon trebles. i just thought it was time to invest in something a bit more substancial now i'm piking more often.

Re: resivoir pike
the cutters work well on most hooks after saying ive yet to find a hook they wouldnt cut through a couple of weeks back, i found one the big single on some soft baits, but seeing as i cut those off before i fish with bolt cutters(couldnt find em) its not a problem
