I'm really glad I followed his advice cause I needed the new mat today.
Headed out onto my local canal again today.
I landed 3 Pike @ 3lb, 10lb and this the biggest @ 14lb. Glad I had my new mat Wink

Cracking fish,fat as a barrel.
Not been too active looking from the leeches on its belly.

Yes I was wondering about the leeches, there were a few on the mat when I returned the fish to the water.
I actually saw this one take the lure which makes it even more special, well to me at least.
