My Bait : anything TURKISH...!!!
Re: Whats your bait ?
well i,ll stay with what has been doing me proud for years even if it has slow periods i,ve never lost the faith as i got TOTAL CONFIDENCE .
i mean one bait company i use i,ve used there baits since 1983 and it still catches me loads of carp .`
what i,ll also do is try the occassional bait out if i think it will work in a particular water as in my experience one doesn,t catch all the residents in a lake
it seems that many anglers get onto a new bait and with in a couple of weeks see pictures in a magazine or hear that some one has had a big fish on a particular bait and instantly changes to it
and then the cycle will begin again until the next new fad .
as stotty has rightly said baits come and go but some baits stay head and shoulders over others

Re: Whats your bait ?
Over many years my favourite bait has been Richworths Esterberry boillies, but for the last couple of seasons I've had some luck with the Cell. But I am in the process of looking for a new bait, and have bought CC Moores Odessey xxx but not had a real try with that yet.

I only used Odessyxxx before then i bought GLM as a substitute to odysessy xxx as it's a similar bait and now i find myself wanting to try the bloodworm range so

Odessy xxx is a quality bait and one i will still use, i love using Richworths Pineapple Hawaiian another quality bait i never had much luck with the cell, had the odd fish on it but i never knew if i wanted to eat it or bait it up.
But there's something about the Bloodworm Range what sticky bait have and i really like the idea of using it in spring when there's a good head of blood worm in the weed, i'm not saying it will substitute the real thing but i hope the flavour will stimulate them into feeding hard, who knows...

I personally have dabbled with sticky baits for years and found the only issue with the old recipes was they would turn super fast..
another old fave from the same camp was the "triple S" which when sticky baits re launched they have labelled it XS .. and in fact still have a few KG in the freezer with matching pellets and dip...
As for what do we mean..
for me baits come and go and as they come I will try most of them out...
So.... flavour of the month...
as for richworth...you'll be hard pressed to go further than their toot's
