i have brought some of this for the cat fish

and i wanted to know if it will b ok for pike cos i got loads of different baits to try and one of them is dead bait which i still got a freezer full of
didny know if the pike would bite through it

it should cope with a pike taking the bait....

maybe used as a main line and the wire trace strapped on as well. If in doubt, leave it out...

Last thing you want is a pike carrying round trebles.

I guess it's safe for cats as they dont have toothed jaws, it's a coarse surface like sandpaper.

Sure there's much better qualified people to advise but strengthened braid is still braid at the end of the day Wink

i got wire aswell so might use that on the safe side

ive brought cats and pike in on mono with single hooks, i would,nt try it with trebles of coarse No
i guess its luck that plays a part too,
it takes some getting through braid though....

yh, i can bit through 60lb line but it takes me about 5minutes and can bit through braid but its hard, i think it should work coz if a cat doesnt break it with its abraision pads then it will be just as hard if a pike took it as they have about the same amount of bite as a rub on sand paper, i have a way you could try it.

for the catfish rub it up against sandpaper and for pike ermm try biting it lol, but thats some good braid
