Re: Windermere in the morning.
Well lads it was a mental day as we got the car stuck on the way there, so we had to winch the boat and car up the hill thats about as good as it got really, not a single run or bob on the float, it really is a rock hard water

It is about 10 miles long and about 1 mile wide not for the person that has never fished a big water O it's over 200 feet deep in parts
That's a duck pond. We wouldn't sail paper model boats on that puddle. Try Loch Awe....now that's a water.

Re: Windermere in the morning.
looks like a nice place, atleast you blanked in nice surroundings rather than on a litter covered carp puddle or alike

I love the place, but you have to be on the fish when there feeding, its as simple as that and there are a few places for them to hide on there

Re: Windermere in the morning.
Lets organise it and make a weekend of it, sort a boat, we've all the gear between us all, wont be massively expensive, biggest expense would be getting up here.

Re: Windermere in the morning.
A boat would be the biggest problem, they charge stupid amounts You can bank fish it though

Re: Windermere in the morning.
The thing with any of the wadaa waters is that there is a complete no overnight fishing ban on all the waters,so unless we fished the day, stopped at a b&b on the night and got back on the bank in the morning, even that could be tricky

Re: Windermere in the morning.
its not all wadaa controlled there does exist some free bank fishing on there
if your gonna have a social in that neck of the woods a better bet would be to head west a little and do some good on a water that gets a fair few idiots on it
more anglers with nice nets and comfy unhooking mats would look good on there (just dont do the fire thing or get too ratted)
anyone interested oh and for those of you with boats you dont need to be registered on this venue unlike windermere
