i've got to get out this weekend!!, i've just spent a fortune on braid and traces( thanks again for the tip woody) for my new lure kit. need to get to grips with this multiplier thingy

Good man gaz its a hard habit to kick mate, but rewarding in both health benefits and financial benefits 50 quid a week is 200 quid a month towards your welham project if you look at it that way.

Just been told pugneys is froze solid and snow all over top that u wouldn't even know it was there affraid

I think that place will be deffanatley good for a fish when it thaws king

the aire looked nice as i went over it today BB but with the high air pressure and low temps i couldn't find the minerals to give it a go. i wish you luck though mate i'm sure ya could get lucky and winkle the odd 1 out. what baits have you opted for?

my own made cheese paste and some bread flake i usually have some halibut pellet but with it being so cold not sure they will do anything, i will be quivertipping that lot and i also have an assortment of little mepps with me need to be careful on them as its pascked with trout the river. Just going out for the air really its to be -5 overnight so not sure how the river will look in the morning. Still i have been doing legionella reports all week so its got to be better than that lol!

yeah it'll be fresh alright but get wrapped up n stay mobile you'll be warm enough. i love cheese paste i'd say its one of the best winter baits for chub the only other i'd consider is liquidised bread in the feeder and a big bit of flake on the hook, but if the water is running clear its not as effective so cheese wins slightly i think

we all want to go but we all know its going to be cold. i can handle cold if i'm getting fish but thats the other thing its going to be hard fishing on top of it being cold
