Pellet waggler fishing
Set up
This is the set up I use it can very but this works for me attach the waggler onto the line, mounted on a float adaptor like this one.
Pellet Waggler Adaptor.....

The floats I prefer are like these ones

Hooklength is 6" I am using Maxima 6lb all the way through but I will go up to 10lb if there are big fish in there, but due to the stretch in the Maxima it can land quite large fish on 6lb line. With the float rig set up like this, you can fish anywhere from 6" to 18" deep by sliding the float up and down.
Try not to feed too much. Half a dozen 8mm pellets every cast is plenty to pull the fish. Once they arrive, cut back to make the fish compete when they come into the swim. Darren and my self last time did about 1 pint of pellets in an hour but always carry double that in case I have to feed more to pull the fish and if its going right you can be filling the lake in.
If the fish get iffy, you can try feeding a dozen pellets, three times in quick succession then cast three or four times without feeding. Also keep an eye open for rolling fish
cast, feed, pull the float back a foot, reel in and repeat. The whole process should take about one minute. It is hard work to fish the method well on your own but with 2 off you it’s a top bit off kit.
While playing fish, if you can feed or get you’re fishing bud to feed, to keep the fish in the swim interested and get the next one lined up. The method and will take some practise but it can be great at that last bit at the end of the day.
Rod depends on the size of fish your after something with a back bone if your after big fish but just balance it to the line you can land carp to 20lb on 6lb line if the rod is nice and soft and there is no snags about.
this one fell to this method

Hope that helps and hope you give it a go Good luck Stotty……

there are a few different makes out there so have a look around.

Re: Pellet waggler fishing
Yeah, nice one fella, definately a method for me to give a try of.
And since sat watching both you and Darren, Ive seen just how effective the method is.
This'll get some of the boys out with the waggler
