Pikey plans
Just a quick question, anyone got any big plans for their pike fishing this winter?
The time is upon us to catch a few of the Essox so what's everybody's hopes and expectations
Me, I'm looking forward to getting the note of for some sessions on the rivers, plus I have a couple of days booked on chew with woody to chase the dream fish. Other than that I will be fishing my usual rivers and still waters just trying to bag a few.
Good luck to all

Re: Pikey plans
Other than what I would usually do im hoping to get out a few times with yourself for a go at roving deadbaiting.
I also plan on fishing larger softbaits at some point, fishing the smae approaches as with small kopytos for perch but on a larger scale. Hoping the concentration on the lower dpths might get me a few extra fish.

Re: Pikey plans
No big plans for me at all. Just keep at it and do what ever takes my fancy. whether that be do the same as i've done for the last year or go in search elsewhere I don't know. I'll take each week as it comes and whatever I dream up while at work or sat at home on a night I'll go do.
Re: Pikey plans
I have 6 days on trout waters, and the rest will be spent on the rivers, a 20lber or two would be nice

Chief
Just renewed my underbank ticket - so hoping to catch a big girl 20+ from there this winter.
Will then dabble on the Ings and also looking at the certain trout lake I am hoping to get a ticket for........... my info is that there may be a potential 30 so am a little exited at the prospect [got to secure the ticket first].
Nothing else on the agenda - but hoping for some decent pikey weather!
