Thats the most bait fish I have ever seen on a river apart from the Bream shoals on the Shannon.

You would think that all our rivers are like that but its pretty rare to actually see, the reason I took Gaz to this spot is because its a basin in York which is out of the flow so the baitfish and the Pike tend to hang around there when the rivers are in flood, its a serious hotspot Wink

it looks a nice spot ady. i don't think the pike are hungry with all those fish around, if you get one out it will be fat.

We poured a load of dead baits in at the end of the session so hopefully it will keep the pike there Wink
