Most fish this weekend fell to basic hair rigs that we tied, location and bait are the most important things to remember Russ, find the feeding fish and you will catch them, a good sharp un masked hook helps but only a small part of carp fishing

blimey just seen this and it works very well and my brother should know the amount of carp he had in canada over 40lb

ok its only an opinion as i have never used it but that looks like a rig that will hook outside the mouth a lot of times especially when smaller carp take the bait

i,ve not had any carp hooked out side the mouth when i was using it myself but i can see why it could possibly to so .

i gave up using it as i couldn,t be arsed with all the fiddling about with all the components i like to just keep things simple .
