chilly hemp

rite lads ive got a big sack of hemp and im gunna cook some up but when do i add the chilli flakes and bicarb rite at the start or once ive boiled it up do i just add some and leave it to rest

yes you can add the bicarb and chilli powder /or flake (i get mine from asda) per Kg of hemp in at the soaking stage and it cuts down on boiling time too and it makes it go much blacker or you can do it while you are boiling the hemp
I also add a small handfull of salt per Kg of hemp. The salt really brings the best in chilli-hemp.

I do the same as Kevin but i use Hot chili powder i also add 50/50 salt & caster sugar but thats the thing we all have our own twist thats carp fishing

have you guys noticed a difference in using chilli hemp to just hemp? ive tried it a few times and to be honest ive not noticed a diffeence so i dont bother anymore. same with curry powder and tumeric, i find it neither helps nor hinders.

I think it better this time of year summer don’t think it matters a toss also all depends on how many people are doing it, the ring the changes thing again something new can trigger a feed, "some times " problem is every bugger is doing it now that’s why I add sugar to mine.

you are right stotty its much better in the cooler months its the only time i,ve noticed any significent difference .
with every one getting on to it now as you rightly say it pays to ring the changes
i,ve changed mine completely in the hope its totally different so i should be the only one doing it . but only time will tell if it works
