Anyone seen the new soft 4-plays?
bit of a marketing spin (I think even his teeth have savage written on them ) but you can't knock the new product, looks ace!
If you have the waters to try different hooking patterns to see which works best - they really could do the business...

as am i, getting sick of not seeing wire used on stuff like this
Re: Anyone seen the new soft 4-plays?
They have said there will be an off the shelf version with wires and hooks already in it.
The items are just the bodies at the moment with jig heads etc sold separately.
(recalling from memory here)

Re: Anyone seen the new soft 4-plays?
would it be safe if it was 100lb+ fluoro/mono?
I recall reading something on mono traces... but as ever, can't fully remember

I wouldn't - believe me!
Bought a Chico's trace and it arrived today - no more building my own now!
I just recall hearing it and wondered if it was true

chico's traces are titanium so provided you don't lose them they can last a very long time
although you can buy all the gear and make your own ti traces but it ain't cheap
i like the look of the new savage lipskulls, look useful

Re: Anyone seen the new soft 4-plays?
traces for £6 and free postage.
They last aaaaaaaaages I have been told and I dont know of a single one going bad.
The biggest up-point is you dont have to change it after a fish - that gets annoying with 25/40lb carbo...

Re: Anyone seen the new soft 4-plays?
I picked up a couple of packets of these last week. I haven't tried them yet but look like they'll be very versatile - I'll be jigging some around a trout reservoir next weekend so fingers crossed!

Re: Anyone seen the new soft 4-plays?
Harris are getting the offset hooks and harnesses in very soon, could of course use something like the Texas style hooks for general soft worm fishing.
