Floater baits
I have just been granted with a season ticket to fish a local water near to me and I know this place in the summer is killer for floating baits but I'm a little unsure as what to do,I was going to use floating pellet and mixer but I wanted to put a variation on flavours and colours on them,I was wondering if I could soak these in an attractant then use human flavouring and essences as oppose to soaking them in water.

Richworth Baits do a spray flavor and it's tops just spray your floaters before you put them out !!!
Re: Floater baits
Does it not just wash off when it hits the water?Surely it would have no time to penetrate the bait?sounds a cool concept though.

what you do is soak your baits the night before just so the outer layer is soft tip out the water as if you were going to dry them then spray them all then put them in a bag freeze them then take them out when you use them as they thaw out they will soak up all that flavor and still float !
Re: Floater baits
Hmmm I'm going to have a look into this, sounds just the ticket, cheers DanDan.

My Bait : GETTING OUT IF AND WHEN POSSIBLE...
Re: Floater baits
I use cork balls flavoured in glugs I put them in a 35mm film case and leave them to soak for 6 months then hair rig them. Or I get a bag of mixers and put scopex glug in there fill it with air shake the bag and leave them over night they are then soft enough to side hook.

Lmao sorry mate I maybe should have typed that in a more understandable manner,I meant flavours and colours that humans would use for cake making and cooking ect lol
