Re: Glide baits

It just sucks a bit, as everytime Im outa work, I never have a motor,so all the places I want to get to,are just pipe dreams. I'd be camped out in the lakes now if I could get there.
But thankfully,I can get on the river, which are still really high, but top for "accidentally" hooking up to a salmon affraid Innocent Whistle

I'm a big fan of glide baits of the Salmo Slider, Ace Sweet Shad 66 ilk too and since I very rarely lose either or pay more than about 8, I've never considered making my own. If you really want to make your own you can buy all the bits you need from Nick Green, who I'd wholeheartedly recommend and you can get some ideas and patterns from Lurebuilding 101.

I didn't miss them. I just didn't add them because Nick Green's is much better for lure-builders IMO. The Fishing Pool is good for Ace baits and that's about it really but even then, I get all my Ace baits from the tackle shop.
