hello there, im going for fishing holidays in about 3 weeks time.the place name woodland waters in ancaster.
me and my mate we taking 3 rods each, two will be used for carp, tench and third for pike.
now this is my idea about grounbait cos i never fished there before.here we go:

cooked bird seeds
hempseed
sweetcorn
cutted dendrobenas
maggots
hali-hemp crush
crushed boilies in fish taste smell-maybe cell or mussel halibut??? not sure maybe tuttis as well for tench?
oat flakes cheapest one
small tin of tuna
no chilli i think...to much of it these days...
one rod boilie, second sweetcorn with maggots, maybe dendrobena
now for pike:
bottom mackerel
and second rod some small fish hanging on float

line 8lb not too thick
hook maybe size 8

WHAT YOU RECKON PLEASE

In my opinoin there is way too much in there for one groundbait i would keep it simple maybe try taking two types of ground bait one sweet one fishy, also try taking some micro pellets and soak them in warm water use them on one rig with a mini halibut pellet or trout pellet.

I like to do that just make a mix of hemp, crushed boilies and pellets catapult under a over hanging tree or snags with a 1/2 oz lead plopped in. use a chopped down boilie or pellet on the hook.
