Dave Lane leaves JRC and is now with TFG

Not new news but some may not know..


Dave Lane one of the big hitters up there with your Herns and Sharps. He's been with Mainline, ESP and JRC for years. But now he has moves to TFG.

He is now a consultant with TFG the understanding is he left JRC as they wanted him to use the new range of Berkely bait but he didn't want to as he is a Mainline man and everyone knows that so didn't want to decieve anyone by promoting inferior bait.

He has also designed a new bivvy for TFG So TFG aren't daft, with an angler of Dave's profile appearing on the market you'd be mad not to pull out all the stops to get him on board!!! They do suffer with this "Bottom end" tag but with someone like Dave lane in their ranks and he is a true consultant. We could see great things in the next year.

JRC's loss TFG's gain ...........

I don't see that as anything less than a good thing for TFG. Dave Lane's reputation has stood the test of time, so it's something of a coup for TFG. I have no problems with their stuff, and hope it all goes well for them.

can he put a word in for me, i may aswell be sponsored by tfg.....

i must admit tho they do do some good stuff. i got a whole new set of clothes at the begining of the year and i cant fault it plus some of the features are really smart.i also got a tfg feeder rod and little freespool and thats bang on, handles the big fish really well. ive even put the 5oz tip on and caught barbel out of my tight snaggy little spot. plus fishtec are a spot on company for ordering from, they are in wales and i generaly get my stuff 2 days after the order plus any quieries are swiftly adressed. and they love to give you free stuff for being loyal.

see what i mean....... youd think i already work for them
