bagging waggler or Bomber Float or method float are all the same thing.

all you need are your bagging waggler float (that you have) strong mainline of around 8-10lb (got to be able to take the chuck), strong hooklength of around 6-8lb (depending on the size of fish in the lake) It also needs to be strong and damage-free as this will also go through a lot of abuse with frequent casting and retrieving over the days fishing. A powerful hook somthing that will not bend i use a DRENNAN SUPER SPECIALIST BARBEL HOOK yes tough but the waters i fish this on the carp go to 20lb and i want somthing i can put some hurt on and get them out of the swim ASAP.

Hook length well the length will depend upon the depth at which the fish are feeding. Experimentation is the key here and a good starting point will be about 2-3ft, but expect to shallow this length as the session progresses. Darren and my self have been fishing down to 6" on one water and this got all the bites.

O the big thing with this is your groundbait should be soft and fluffy. Method Mix is too sticky for this rig make your mix slightly damper than you would mix your normal groundbait for feeder fishing it wants to hold on the cast but explode on impact.

Good luck Andy, a method I'll be using at some point no doubt - looks a blast!

I showed Tim this last week and we had a take as soon as the float hit the water. You get it right on the right water and its great, and a self hooking method.
