Whats your bait ?

simple as it sounds .....

whats your chosen bait your using at the moment and how long you been using it ?

For me it's Odyssey xxx been using is for i reckon just under 12months and haven't found a reason to stop using it yet it's put many fish on the bank for me and as long as it's still doing that i will keep using it, one of my previous batch of odyssey xxx was a bit of a duff one it dried out very quickly and as soon as it did this it would crack and split as soon as i ran a bait needle through it but the two batches after have been spot on.

Woody also got me onto a bait this weekend just gone and thats the bait kitchens Lobster & Maple vas very impressed with it as Ady had most if not all his fish from it and i had 1 or 2 off it, so it would be something i would consider as an alternative bait.

im in no way a "carper" but 90% of the time im using modern carp fishing tactics ill use either 3-6 bits of corn with or without a red rubber pop-up one or sensas 8mm hallibut pellets seem to be almost irresistable to fish, best pellets ive ever used thats for sure and ive been through most of them. they also make a great paste if you just crush them up and add warm water, no need for egg or binder at all

Dynamites "the Source"....... is having a bit of a revival and I have had both big fish and big bags on it

HBS (Heathrow Bait services)... So many gooduns here.. from indian spice to M&M's both bottom baits and pop ups... but dismiss at your peril the "day trippers" which can give you the edge.. used on thier own, multiples or as a tipper... and the pots last for seasons...!!!

Richworth ..... Tutti fruity... tooots or whatever you wanna dress them up as... an all time old skool bait that has a special place in my lil ol heart...

bright yellow pineapple pop ups... dont know why but feck do they work...


But now on board with the CC4C and looking to help as you know with Stotty on this bait.. the summer and winter mixes are great..

just one thing really .. if using boilies please please do not use shelf lifes... ta.

vision baits carp candy boilies and hallibut pellets never really caught on anything else

A simple dry fly does it for me every time

I have just found Dynamites Chocolate Malt!!! I now use only Dynamites Fresh Fish - Oyster and Mussel and their Chocolate Malt. Have found that O & M will produce fish (often smaller) and CM will produce better fish.

sticky baits bloodworm for me and might try the dynamites banana nut crunch as a second bait

Whatever Dans not using is my bait
