I went today, perfect conditions, overcast, decent ripple/wave on surface, patches of sun,but not a thing.
The place is riddled with weed, you've never seen anything like it, the water in places is almost 20ft,and the weed reaches the surface, making lures an immposibility.
I managed to find the carp tho, lurking in the margin, under the willows, bout 3 or 4,up to easily 20lb plus, they're huge, and hardly get fished for.
I wont bother with that place again, I left it a year ago as the weed, and lack of fish was terrible, nothings changed,so I wont be going back again.
Might get a session with Gaz at the weekend.

Was just good to actually get out, I need to find the right venue. I never even saw any smaller fish, normally I'd see the bait fish huddled in the shallower bay areas, but not a thing.
Thats fishing tho. Its all a challenge.
