www. renosky.com

Post by blower on Tue Oct 27, 2009 5:18 pm

my wife has just got back from florida and bought me some bass lures as they looked good for perch fishing. the company that makes them is called renosky i have looked on there website but the kit she bought is not on there but some components are. could you have a look and let me know what you think. the range is called mirror image and the lures are trick shiners, shads, curly tails and paddle tails in assorted sizes. the kit has four colours and six lures in each colour with some patterns the same but in smaller sizes. you also get jig heads, bendable spines and wacky hooks for mounting the different patterns.

They seem to have the exact same hooking arrangement as the banjo minnows which I use, and the trick shiner is almost a copy of the banjo's, but with a treble in the belly, Well worth a go down the river,Id say they'd be fairly effective for the jacks, and who knows, maybe something bigger Fingers crossed

i thought the price was good too. they are all jointed in the middle and they are slightly smaller then the ones on the site at 4/5inch long and very soft.
cheers tim will give them a go the weekend Wink

See how they swim in the margin, so you know how fast a retrieve to give them, try pauses, slow wind, stop, and add some twitches in, most the pike Ive had recently, have taken the lure right after a short pause Wink

the ones that fit the treble in the middle is fixed with a brass bar that goes through the front half of the lure and you can put a bend in it to change the action. really well thought out lure. i might invest in some more stuff of the site if these work ok.
