| Fox International Appoints another 2 New MemberSat 10 May 2008 - 13:13 by Stotty After Mr Nudd we also have Mr Neil Smith
Fox International is pleased to announce that well-known UK carp angler, Neil Smith, starts with the company on May 12. Neil joins as Account Manager, covering Cheshire, Staffordshire, West Midlands and surrounding areas.
Neil, formerly the sales, marketing and product development manager with Aqua Products, will also help with future product development projects and assist with media and publicity work through magazine features.
"Neil is a well-known and highly respected carp angler with an extensive knowledge of carp products. He has a wealth of knowledge that will benefit all areas of the company, not just sales," said Paul Reeves, Fox International General Manager.
Commenting on the move, Neil had this to say: "I have been using Fox products since the 1980's and have witnessed the brand and the company become far and away the market leader. I see it as a privilege to become part of such an organisation, and at a time when Fox are compiling such a strong team of anglers in all areas of our sport."
The move sees the previous Account Manager for this area, Shaun McSpadden, start his new role at Fox Headquarters in Hainault, Essex, joining the product development team working on rods and accessories
covering carp, match, predator and sea.
"Shaun has an extensive knowledge of fishing products from his time working for Pure Fishing. He has been helping develop new products for the past 12 months, but this move will see him fully concentrate on taking Fox International products into the future," said Paul.
These two moves are just a small part of Fox International's continued investment, building on the company's strong growth in 2007 and first quarter of 2008.
