well lads came 10nth with 52onz bet my dad tho it was shite and hated it if i did not get 2 crutians witch were around the 1 pound mark i would onley av a 3 15 pound one it that is carp for birkwood that is

i've my first match wednesday coming and i'm aprehensive, i have asked the team captain about the lake but he's not letting on the t"*t
all i've managed to do is sort out 2 match rods 2 reels with different LB line and made some hook lengths up with different sizes of hooks.
so tomorrow i will hopefully get more out of him.
if i knew what species predominantly it had i could be asking you for tips.

Well its better than blanking Todd

Well as you know lads, me and young Todd had a match today for charity , the venue allowed 2 rods as the target weight was crazy Well we tried our best in horrible conditions, and started off very well with both of us catching well on the pole just under the surface for about 45 mins getting plenty of silvers...and then it died..

However us carpers always have something up our sleaves, I had a method rod out with mixed particles and corn on the hook....bingo 4 carp to 10lb 6oz which helped my final weight to 27lb 11oz our matchman Todd ahd 7lb 14oz Todd sais I cheated by having a second rod out, but I beat his weight on silvers aswell

How much did you make

Well over £2500, it was a good day and a great carp venue, a good runs water, just wished I had used to carp rods rather than the pole

i bought myself a beginners put in pole today woody so im expecting you to show me how to set up all this elastic and stuff, well done on the match mate
