17 turned up meant to be 25 and 10 of them that turned up had hangovers!!
i drew peg 15 which is meant to be a flyer and a flyer it was...

soaked some micros for the feeder cause my swim was opposite the island casted a few out without any bait on then 4 white maggots on a 16 hook and the wrap came quickly a carp about 3lb
had 4 more carp all ranging 3lb to half a 1lb.

The swim went quiet not a bite so fished on the pole on maggot getting perch and roach a chuck about the 4/5oz mark.

and yet again they went quiet!! so i decided to go back on the tip for the last 20 mins and turned out successfully with two 1lb carps

wieghed in at a surprising 21lb
and that left me 5th!!

33lb won it but for only starting to match fish in the past 3 months i thought i done well
