Working the Slammer Bite
Got to the pond around 4 30. It was cold. Should of dressed a little better for it. Started throwing the slammer right away. Did not get a hit for a good hour. Switched over to a popper and a monster small mouth came flying out of the water. My drag starts flying. It was a good fish. Jumped again and came off....... I got a 1lb small mouth and a largemouth so I went to the other side of the lake. Picked up the 9inch X2. It gets sucked down. It was a good fish.
5lb 7oz.
.
Gave me a good fight. Got another one like 20 feet down from this one.
2lb 8oz

Started to jig and dropshot and got nothing. Im about to go out again.

I like it so far. It is not a deep net looking at it but once the fish gets in the net it sags and it holds the fish nicely
Re: Working the Slammer Bite
I suppose that its got to be a good thing for the fish but is it heavy?

Top job

Handle every stressful situation like a dog.
If you can't eat it or hump it,
Pi$$ on it then walk away
