Jig fishing 5/18
Been fishing a lot lately because of college coming to a end. Ill be fishing every day. Went out today for a few hours before work. Started throwing the triple trout right away and I hook into a 2lber. Then started to jig and picked up a few more 2-2.5lbers along the way. I was switching back from the triple tout and the jig all day long. I got this nice fat fish. Never saw a fish any fatter.

Spit up a trout on the way into the boat. Went down the same shore line and got another nice on on the jig.

Pretty good day with 15 fish all good fish. Still do not have batteries for the scale.

Some nice fish again there Anthony. I notice you use a right handed baitcaster are you a lefty? or do you just prefer the right handed reel?
Life is what you make it, so it's your own fault!

nope I am righty. Most freshwater bait casters for bass are righty. Lefty are hard to get. So i just taught my self to use my right hand. I can go both ways very easy when it comes to spinning and bait casters. Spinning I reel with my left hand.
Re: Jig fishing 5/18
Its strange that because Ryan is left handed and uses a right handed reel, I have have told him to change over

It's funny you should say they are hard to get because we are always being offered left handed reels hot from the States!
I guess they can make more on them by selling them over here!Life is what you make it, so it's your own fault!
Re: Jig fishing 5/18
Im right handed, but have always use my left for winding, just feels wrong using my right.
Re: Jig fishing 5/18
I think that's how it should be. You use your prominent hand to hold and control the rod and your other hand to reel in!

Re: Jig fishing 5/18
Your right Badger thats how we do it but in America they tend to cast with there right and the swap over and reel with there rigjt hand, very strange

That's just another sentence with States and very strange in it. Sort of makes sense to me!
