Starting to throw the big stuff

Post by Zorro on Wed Apr 16, 2008 4:59 am

As most of you know I throw big swim baits for large and small mouth bass. Well the water is finnally warm enough to throw top water and what not. Which is good. I have a tourny saturday and maybe sunday. Hopefully the top water bite will be good. Now back to today afro

Went out today with my buddy nicky. 3 cast in I get a pickerel on a lucky craft jerk bait. Started tossing around the jig and had a lot of pickerel coming up for it. Switched over to the lucky B.D.S 2 and caught a 10inch bass..... We started to throw soft jerk baits around and had a lot of fish eating the bait but they where not getting hooked. I did hook a 1lb bass. Threw the sammy around and had a good size fish blow up on it but the fish missed it. I thought if I can get hit on that I could get hit on a slammer. Well I did get hit on it....

Are you sure? Where did they get them from, there not imported for anything I know of. Are you sure there not a colour sport of pike? Stunted maybe?

Do you have a picture of one?

Not exactly proof, I tend to aggree with mr 48.

There is no sound reason for anyone exporting them outside the US, there no good as pet fish and too small to be worth stocking. A load of rubbish, bit like the snakehead thing.
