There is no sound reason for anyone exporting them outside the US, there no good as pet fish and too small to be worth stocking. A load of rubbish, bit like the snakehead thing.
I love slippy just like a can of Ronseal does exactly what it says on the tin you don't mix your words do you
I say it as I see it, lets look at the evidence, The guy recons Dr Bruno and other fish boffins said "it could explane things"..........Do you honistly think a guy who knows what he is talking about would stick his neck out that far? And if he did and he was right why is the place not limed? Thats your first standerd reaction from the EA to an invasive species. How the hell they got there is still the biggest joke, like anybody in the uk would stock pike, the fact they look different to a pike that no club would stock in the first place is April fool terratory
I would love to be proved wrong though, if pickerel could make it then theres hope for small mouth bass yet
Re: Starting to throw the big stuff
I like your style slippy!

Life is what you make it, so it's your own fault!

Re: Starting to throw the big stuff
Badger, I guess I had a head start as I know for a fact you cannot buy pike from any fish farm in the uk for stocking. The folk that get involved trying to relocate pike from club waters were they are not wanted end up with headache, nobody wants em.
I'm still looking forward to a photo of an english pickerel though

Largemouth wouldnt do well but Smallmouth would love it here
Re: Starting to throw the big stuff
They would actually help bigtime with the signal problem. The EA would never go for it though. I guess if they had an adipose fin then they might?
They seem to like rainbow trout
