Re: REELax fishing charters (Sweden)
Another day done, my guest hooked & lost 10 pike & landed 5 with shedloads of "followers", i hooked & lost 2 & landed 2 up to 10lb (Low #s as i'm supposed to be working)
. This was from the location that the camping trip pictures came from, a good day with a huge sea eagle flying around & red deer down by the waterside.
Tomorrow we're off in another direction to see what we can find, not many pics today as i was busy unhooking fish!!!

20lb fish....
Hi again,
Well as posted yesterday we headed in a different direction this morning & before lunch we had the grand total of 2 jacks
I moved the boat out to deeper water & we could see single fish at around 30' with big balls of baby herring around them..... as i had no vertical kit, (to be rectified), we moved location to a spot that's produced good fish for me in the past. To cut a long story short Pats jerkbait was engulfed by a nice 20lb fish, she was landed, weighed & photographed then returned to swim away strongly, i don't think this fish will move away from this location until it gets too hot in July & will pile on weight now that the spawn is over. Anyone want to try for it later on??
Here's some pics from today....
John.

Im definately up for it later in the year, maybe september time, I've just gotta pull my finger out and get a little saved up. No doubt my fishing "buddy" will let me down, so may come out there on my own, unless any of the guys on here fancy joining me.
Re: REELax fishing charters (Sweden)
Dan talked about it too, how about teaming up as it's expensive alone.

I'll see what he says when he gets on. I tried woody, but his missus wont allow it.
Where as my girlfriend knows the score,I fished before she met me,and Ill do it till I die.
What wold the costs be for 2 people for a 3 day trip? obviously excluding flights. Just so I have a rough idea of how much to keep putting away each week. Having a s**te paid job,and bills coming out my ears.

re REELax fishing charters sweden
Hi just to let you know what a great time I have just had pike fishing in the Baltic with John , we caught quite a few hard fighting pike ending with the superb 20 shown in John's photos . John did every thing possible to make the trip a success including picking me up and dropping me off every day from my hotel in the centre of Stockholm ,he was great company and even cooked a super barbecued lunch every day on an island. His well equiped boat with a top quality fish finder was very safe and fast , we travelled at speeds up to about 38 mph in between the many fishing locations. If you are considering a trip to explore the fishing potential in Sweden I can highly recommend John's professional guiding service as I sure he will do every thing possible to make your trip enjoyable and successful , Pat , County Clare ,Ireland.

What a fantastic looking location and a nice fish to end with. Welcome to the site Pat, I hope to hear more of your fishing in Ireland. Considering the good pike fishing around Ireland, it must be good out there in Sweden to travel all that way!

I'd love to join you Tim but our lass is kicking off about the next social already! I will have to take her away for the weekend to butter her up.

Salmon Fishing
Hi everyone,
Had a really nice day yesterday trolling for Atlantic Salmon South of Stockholm. There have been fish taken to 45lb so far this season so we really hoped for a fish... We hooked a garfish to start with then just after lunch one of the planer board lines tripped & the line was running off the reel, to cut a long story short i got the fish to the side of the boat & my friend who is a very experienced fisherman had a brain fart & fluffed the netting bit!!!
Never mind, there's a nice 10lb fish still swimming out there for someone else to catch :D
The day was really a test for my new boat & everything worked perfectly so i was happy. The fish will be around until the middle of July if anyone is interested in trying to catch one. We're off to a venue North of Stockholm next Wednesday so i'm going to take a bigger net :)
