Day of Firsts

I got my new baby wake in and I had to try it out. It gets crushed on the wake by a little 1lb 6oz bass. Ill take it. This bait is great so far. You can use it right out of the box and It has quality hardware. Very pleased so far.


Go to another pond and I pick up the drop shot. I pick up a lot of Large mouth and rock bass. Then all of a sudden my line starts flying out. I think it was a good bass. It makes like 3 or 4 runs, then I get it under the boat. It was not a bass it was a bowfin. The thing gave me a amazing fight on my drop-X rod.

You seem to have some really good sport out there Zorro, be nice to have access to waters that readily,and..have my own boat.
That 2nd fish is a strange looking creature? looks a little bit like a trout.

Bow fins are very cool very hard to get hold of these days in the fish trade a friend had one in an out side pond many years ago.

i had on when i went it had s barbed hooks in its mouth from were some small boys snaped off on it
