My view (as if anyone is interested) on this is, there is now ONE way of doing it right. You can't please everyone all the time so don't try. Find your strong points and go with it. This forum was set up by (and I have to work with him) a great, sound lad who is really into his fishing and HAVING A GOOD TIME! After all, we go fishing to relax and enjoy ourselves and logging onto a forum about fishing should also be a relaxing and enjoyable experience. We are lucky on this, as yet small and new forum, in the sense that we have an Admin and Mod team that are into fishing and WANT to share their knowledge with others. We try to keep it basic, we will go out of our way to help ANYONE!
But and this is a BIG But, we want everyone to enjoy their time on here. As for he swearing. Well, it's in our everyday life. Most of the kids of today will know more swear words than me. We do have a private area for the over 18's and we do have a word sensor in place. If people still log on and find this offencive then another "easy" way out for us is, "DON'T READ WHAT YOU FIND OFFENCIVE". As I said, this is my view on what makes a good forum. One last thing though Daz and this is another BIG thing, once you get the forum going, DON'T DELETE ALL THE POSTS! I think you know where I'm coming from, unless you are a different Daz from Norfolk! Wink

embarrased Embarassed never Wink But yes I think we have a much lighter way of looking at things geek some of the other forums I used to look into I didn’t even want to join. I am sad to say there are a lot of Carpers out there that 1 don’t want to share there knowledge 2 gloat at other people 3 say how good they are all the time.

If I blank I will tell you that the end of it Crying or Very sad
