Trouble with my 6 incher
Lol that got ya attention I bet ya was getting ready to mod this post lol, anyway back to the topic,I done a 24hr session at my members only lake from friday night through til saturday and always tend to fish the same rigs,a free running fox method feeder with a 6 inch braided hooklink with a size 8 on rod 1 and a size 10 on rod 2,anyway I happened to watch one of my casts extremely closely and noticed that as the cast was going through the air my hooklink wrapped around the method which left me feeling somewhat on edge with knowing my presentation but left it for a couple of hours with no results not even a sniff,I then took a long look at my rig and decided on using a 2 inch hooklink which I then recasted and within an hour a 12lb bream fell to the bank so from now on Im going with the same length for my hooklink, its garantee'd excellent bait presentation I also managed to land a 5lb esox that was in my swim just to clear it from my swim, this was achieved by wrapping a kitkat wrapper around my boilie and hook and leaving a tail to it lol, some carp fisherman eh?lol
