Rubber Landing Nets

Post by stingray on Wed Jun 18, 2008 12:42 pm

I'm using the Fox predator rubber net and it was christened early on the glorious 16th ..... any how i noticed six scales in it from the one pike Suspect . I bought it on a fish friendly ticket but i didn't notice any scale loss with the soft mesh carp net i used to use . Any thoughts on this please

I was quite impresses with the one John uses in Sweden. The plus was the lures came out of it a lot easer than the old mesh type. I did not notice it causing any damage to the fish.

Scales do regenerate it's really nothing to be too worried about but if you do feel that way you could always purchase the korda carp kit (use on other species too) all you do is get the "Ear bud implement" and add the ointment to it then rub over the wounded or scaleless area and it will prevent any further infection there are 2 bottles in the kit "Mouth" & "Body" guess what there for Suspect the kit's are about £12 - £15
