I tried to get on 5 mins ago and all i could see was HTML code etc etc, wtf is going on?

alright fellas

the problems you may have occurred will be due to maintenance on the servers noting to worrie about just slows us down a bit !

as for the Ads i have no plans for banner ads so there shouldn't be any on site, what ads were they ?

spot on i get them if i dont click the tick on the log in box. if i sign in at work they pop up 3 at the top

ADS WERE things like free ringtones and free laptops, xbox's etc....site appeared in HTML 4.0 strict and i refreshed 3 times and still HTML code, refreshed again and site came up with several ads

They are just sponsor adds put there by the board supplier! They go as soon as you log in. If you set your browser to auto log you in then you don't get them.
