Bakers Pond...

Post by billy barbel on Thu 1 May 2008 - 13:52

A project to make it easier for all types of people to get hooked on fishing is proving to be a big hit at Bakers Pond in Kilnhurst, Yorkshire.

Led by Kilnhurst district angling association, who own and manage the urban season ticket fishery, 18 disabled platforms are being installed at the site, together with 30 mtrs of boardwalk and 135 mtrs of wheel chair friendly path around the pond.

It's good to see something constructive happening with the money paid over for our licence! I hear that £20,000, YES! £20,000 is going to re-stock the lake at Weatherby PRISON! affraid I'm sure you will all be glad to hear that!
Life is what you make it, so it's your own fault!
