Right lads! The rules have been changed from the original posting. You can choose your own teams now so what are you waiting for?
There are only three teams entered so far so come on get your fingers out. The comp isn't hard to enter and looking at the competition, it isn't going to be hard to win so lets see some more teams signed up. Channa, all the gear! Show us you have some idea! well at the moment i am an armchair angler fishing money has gone for the moment buying the likes of prams baths etc

but seriously im only popping to the local canal about once or twice a week of an evening playing for the carp and hoping for a cat, of a weekend depending on tide times im aiming for a lure caught bass went to nwales yesterday trying a mark or two round there with no joy so went looking (not fishing) at some trout/waters im on this year (saw a reasonable pike on one away from the usual hang outs which was good means if i see more there i can head away from the resy of the flotilla on opening day). summer is usually mess about time. then working up to getting the piking right usually nosying at waters under the guise of a day out in the countryside for the family

even that can get me into trouble went on a tour of wales in feb/march for a few days looking at sea venues and glacial lakes rivers etc. as a result come november my 1st born should pop out (trying to keep warm in the car/tent when its about 8 below is dangerous in more ways than one

found some quality places to fish this winter if i can get out and petrol gets cheaper as its gonna be a 250-300 mile round trip failing that may take the middle distance water back on that ive left for the last couple of years as now they sould have some water back in em a few twenties and with luck another of that magical class of fish should appear from there

anyway no one on here is near me to join up with and id be a crap partner anyway the amount im getting out i might just put the odd pic up (feel very honoured im not normally a poster of pics and you have some already its the squirrel in me i reckon I cant show fish or places without thinking of the destruction ive seen on some places through the numptys who think they can go and fish waters and leave crap all over the place)

You don't have to fish together! You team up with someone anywhere in the country and cover different types of fishing. You are into pike so you would need to team up with someone into Match fishing or Sea fishing. That way you cover more species! It's not quantity or quality that counts. It's the diversity of your catch that wins the day in this comp! Plus you have the whole month to go at, it's free and there are some nice prizes to land!
