Hello All!

Been put onto this site by TackleTart - and I recognise a few other user names

I get my name from where I live and the way I spread my tackle around when i'm fishing!

Veryu much into Zander fishing, been a few years since i targetted Tench and Perch at Tring resevours and I spent a few seasons on South Lagoon at Wyboston.

I live half a mile from the Middle Level and I cant wait for June 16th, when for the first time, i'm going to focus on summer species from the drains
don't believe everything TackleTart says about me!

welcome mate it's a bit quiet this weekend as most of the stalwarts are off attempting to stop the carp spawning long enough to take a boilie ....the fools
whereas the better anglers ( me and stickysteve ) will be set up in our swims as the sparrows start farting in the morning , 3am pick up to be on the water and set up before dawn . I'll be catching my pb tench ( a 1 ouncer will do ) . So a little message for all you UKFF bivvy boys :: :: :: can't wait till you get back and we can hear how little you all caught ...... amateurs

had a go at sleep ...... i'm like a kid on christmas eve when's it gonna be 2 so i can get up and get my flasks ready ( soup in one tea in t'other ) anyroad here i am having a beer and posting about fishing . Our lass 'll go apeshit if she wakes up and finds me " at it "
Going mega light tomorrow , heaviest thing i have to carry is me fodder ......

Another thing you've been a member all day and you haven't called for a zander social so that we can learn and catch and meet ....... or a pike one , anyway one in Norfolk

Thanks for the welcome guys, appreciate a lot are up near Hinckley tonight chasing the carp.

A Zander social hmmmm. we could line the banks of one of the drains - or find a suitable stillwater.
Toward end of September would be best - I'll consult with my Mentor who's already a member (i've caught my best Zander more by persistance than skill) Though Hopefully the skills getting better!

Things are starting to come alive round here again, the Cut Off Channel and the Great Ouse are sprouting lilys and the reeds are coming up.
