I never use the stuff. I have been using 15lb Ultima Virage Fluorocarbon without any problems!

Kamasan B775 with the beaked point. (as recommended by Kev!)

I use it some times, try whipping the hook the other way as some times on the ESP it can strangle and cut off on the shank of the hook also when finishing the knotless knot whip it twice round on the return before going back out through the eye.
Handle every stressful situation like a dog.
If you can't eat it or hump it,
Pi$$ on it then walk away

yes i agree stooty i had some ESP raptors and they were cutting the line at the eye of the hook and i was whipping away from the cut in the eye

its important when whipping on any hook you go away for the cut in the eye of the hook or you will find this will cut through the line every time perch king

the grinners is probably the most wide spread knot to use and i have never had any trouble with it also the palomar knot and the figure of 8 knot are also good

I have some 12lb IQ and i rate it, it's a good fluorocarbon that refracts light so basically it go's inviable or it's meant to it's also a stiffer nylon which was the idea i'm led to believe to help anti tangling, i use it still today and have never had it just snap on me.

maybe worth trying to do your turns as stotty & kev suggested and if your still having the same problem try it on a different brand of hook and if it still breaks take it back to the shop as you may have duff batch.
