CAMOUFLAGING RIG TUBING
these pens by total fishing i think are a good idea and once again when i feel that the fish i,m fishing for are extra spooky
i try and conceal as much as i can from the carp not just by nailing every thing hard on the bottom but also visually especially when i,m using tubing and these pens really do a good job

by using the different coloured pens you can break the tubing up so its does not stand out so much on the lake bed
also you can match the lake bed as close as possible by using the different pens to further hide it as much as you can from the wary carp .
you can see from the picture below how you can change the tubings colouration from standard (bottom)
i will also put flecks of colour onto the safety links just to break up there shape
although it not compulsory to do this it does give me confidence

Re: CAMOUFLAGING RIG TUBING
i've just been using a black permenant marker on mine but these do seem a really good idea.
how much are they and do you buy them as a set or individual ?
i suppose the next question would be how do you judge how much to put on ? and how can you be sure your matching it similar to the bottom where you can't see ?

Re: CAMOUFLAGING RIG TUBING
all good questions firstly i paid £12,99 for the full ten but you can buy them in packs of 5 colours
its down to your own judgemnet to how much you colour you tubing or bits up
you are really just breaking up a continous line on the bottom
i just done a couple to show the different effect .
again if i can,t see the bottom i don,t bother to colour it in there,s no point in guessing it as you may make it stand out more

good answer, so you only color them if you can see the bottom !
