Preparing Hemp

Guys.. i know the normal way of doing hemp is soaking it for 12 hours, then boliing it for 30 mins..... but the missus god bless her started all night, about the smell...

Anyhow, am sure i read some where about doing process using an flask, ie half fill the flask with hemp, then boiling watrer & leave for 24 hours.. Is this so?.. what about adding flavours etc etc.

Any thoughts?

we used to do it with wheat & tares fill a thermos flask with one third wheat,fill up with boiling water and leave over night to cook and swell.As to the swelling,it is most important that you do not screw down the thermos top as the swelling may dammage the flask.Just put it on loose. So i think you could do the same with Hemp.

O i always add Sugar or Salt to Particles

ohhhh... so at the point of pouring the water, that is point where i should add any extras, like chilli oil etc..

alough ive never done it in a flask thats how ive heard to do it.

like stotty i also add a pinch of sugar and salt to hemp (i add a pinch of each tho)

Does it matter how long the hemp stays in the flask?

too long and they may split a bit too much and go to soft for on the hook but i think youd be looking more at days than hours for that to happen. everyone ive heard talk about it do it overnight but i recon your best bet would be to just keep an eye on it. it wont hurt being prepared the day before and put in the fridge wraped in a damp cloth overnight

spot on if you dont want it for the hook its not such a worry
