Bobb Nudd says goodbye to browning..

Bob Nudd has resigned from browning after years of loyal service, the famous white capped man has now signed up with fox ( who wont sell me their tackle) as their top match consultant his new deal started on 1st May.

In a glittering international angling career Bob won four individual world angling championship gold medals, 1990 (Yugoslavia), 1991 (Hungary), 1994 (England) and 1999 (Spain).

He has been a regular contributor to angling magazines throughout Europe, including Angling Times, for whom he has written for more than a decade. He was also awarded an MBE for services to angling.

Commenting on the appointment Steve Cole, Fox International media and publicity manager, said: “There is no bigger name in match fishing than Bob Nudd. He is admired and respected by anglers the world over, regardless of their age, and is still winning matches regularly today.

“Bob is an incredibly loyal person. He worked tirelessly for Browning over a long period, an incredible partnership that is testament to both parties involved. But, people move on and Browning's loss is undoubtedly our gain.”

“Bob has an extensive knowledge of fishing in both the UK and on the continent. He will be working closely with our team of product developers to design, develop and launch new products suited to specific countries and styles of fishing.”

The sponsorship deal started on 1st may and Bob will be using the new MSB Match System seatbox, the award-winning Elite Luggage and top-of-the-range Envoy Elite pole.

Yes i bet his outbursts on piking will go queit now im sure fox wouldnt want any conflict with their match fishing and predator fishing ranges

What was he browning? A pike in the oven? Not the most tolerant angler I can think off

Nothing wrong with any branch of fishing, so long as you don't lose sight of the bigger picture. The water is there for us all, not just for someone who thinks his head won't fit up his ar5e now it's that big!

At Chatsworth he had a competion against a fly fisherman and the fly fisherman wiped the floar with him on the mirror, I nearly wet myself

Fox has had a very big re-org a lot of people have left or walked out they are doing a lot more match gear now. I cant believe Bob left Browning after all this time but then again its not my sort of fishing and as for the pike thing that’s a proper old boy attitude

I think he's just ignorant to anything but match fishing. And there lies the problem. He don't like carp over 10lb eather because they take too long to land. He should keep his stupid opinions to himself, I car'nt believe people look up to him. Fishing is a diverse pastime, lots of ways of doing the same thing. To think yours is best is just dumb.
