its such a nice warm feeling seeing your lovely soft plastics congealed into a clump of jelly like something out of the blob

i did it with jelltex and storm shads a few years ago, i think and i stand to be corrected its something to do with the plasticers they use to keep them supple

Soft plastic lures usually contain phthalates a plastic softener that is a potentially harmful chemical but yes its what makes them supple and why they melt

this will make you think if you want more kids

Ironclad...soft plstic baits

Post by eastcoastin on Tue Sep 01, 2009 2:34 am

This is my first time to the site.. looks interesting
Product looks great, tough as, would suit Australian fish and conditions very very well...
My question is are they biodegradable.. what happens when you get busted off or the fish swallows the lure... then the plastic becomes waste, or do they eventually breakdown??..
Do you have an Australian distributor as yet??
